Katerina Siniak completed the successful Saturday of the Czech tennis players at Wimbledon with a victory in the doubles.
The 28-year-old native of Hradec Kralove triumphed alongside American Taylor Townsend in the women’s doubles.
Siniak thus secured two Grand Slam titles in a row, each with a different partner. In the doubles final, Siniak and Townsend defeated the second seeded pair of Gabriela Dabrowski, Erin Routliffe 7:6, 7:6.
